How about geek jokes?
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.

Only if you don't play a brass instrument, right Katie?

1 to 9? We had to be up at 7:30 and let out at 10:00 (or when it got dark)
We were also camped up at a crappy university half across the state. I'm glad I'm done with that. Have fun!

I was first chair in regular band and solo tenor sax in jazz band for 2 years. Plus another 5 years of band before that.
and I'll probably never touch a saxophone again.
what a waste...

I remember band camp. We had to be up by 0600, out of breakfast at 0630, into lunch at 1200 for an hour, then dinner at 1830 for an hour, then sleep at 2200. Everything in between was music. Good times.

Well, since I'm in college now, I'd have to pay to be in band. Since I'm a poor white boy, I really don't have money. And I supposed I could still play for just a hobby.
Of course it was enjoyable. I loved it. It just seems like it was a dead end road that I kept driving down. But, yeah, when you put it that way, I guess it really wasn't a waste if I had good times.

Well its over. And for the person who said geek = band, take this:
we hooked all our amps up (and we have a good jazz program so there were a bunch of them) and played baby got back and our director break danced.
Pretty sweet
i guess you had to be there, you probably think thats even geekier

Nope Sounds like fun...we've done all the bizarre musical stuff as well that people might think geeky.
Singing off hotel balconies? (as in, everyone on about 7 different balconies, with two of us standing out on the building site conducting )
