ok, here's my situation. Unfortunately I use AOL since they are the only Broadband provider in my area. I've been using DSL with them for awhile now. My parents also have an AOL account that is just through dialup. Well my dad was talking to the guy that does the networks at his work (he just sets it up, they don't really have an administrator) and he said we could share the broadband connection with a router. So we got a D-Link router, 4-port ethernet broadband. I set up the router in my room and installed the software on my system (750 Athlon). We haven't hooked up the second computer yet. I hooked up the ethernet line out of my network card to the first port on the router, and then an ethernet cable from the router into the DSL modem ethernet jack. Now I can't connect via AOL with my modem. When I set up the Admin settings I chose the PPoE because that is what AOL DSL uses. then I entered my AOL screenname and password, and "America Online" as the Service name. Is my problem with the AOL connection? The instruction manual assumes you have MSN or something like that and tells you to connect through your browser which I can't connect through either. What do I need to do to get my router working? Basically I have this.

Computer A - connected to router & router connected to DSL modem

Computer B - connected to other port on Broadband router.

Computer A & computer B are both running AOL and are SEPARATE AOL accounts.

Any help with this is extremely appreciated.
