    Question

    Hi all

    Doing a spot of MMC stuff with the snap-in designer, I went through the tutorials and created a new taskpad entry, complete with nice icon and text from taken from MMC.EXE using the res://mmc.exe/glyph100.eot syntax.

    How do I find out and view what icons/fonts are in an exe file? Is it possible to extract them?

    Lightbulb Use Visual Studio

    If you have it....open the exe 'As Resources' and you should be able to see and extract the resources you want.
