Somebody told me that from html (action), you can initiate a VB .exe program to run. Is it true?

If so, would anybody give me hint or sample in how to do it?

Especially, how inside the VB program that I can read the data on the html page?

Also, is it possible to send a html page out to the requestor from the VB program?
