Please help whats wrong with this code

Set XLSWORKBOOK = GetObject("W:\LASTSPEND.XLS")
Set XLSWORKSHEET = XLSWORKBOOK.Worksheets("T4OVERTIME")


when i run this code i get error 13 type mismatch on the first set.

please help
