Help!!

I am very very new at VB6 and I have a project that I really cannot handle and I wonder if there is anyone who would be interested in taking the challange. I run a chat called Virtual Reality and we are currently using an old excite client but want one of our own that has all the same features of the excite client. and scroll till you get to the unicorn and click on the unicorn to download the client we are now using. To come into the chat, at the tolp in the client go to tools, community server and type in community name Virtual Reality and for the addy type in virtualreality.d2g.com then click add. Highlight the community that you just added and click on connect. It will take you to a log in page just log in and you will be able to go anywhere on the web that you want to and chat with anyone else who is using the server. Locate Angel...that is me *S* If anyone is interested please let me know

why not just tell us you project in the forum?
and in the future, dont head your thread subjects with 'help', do something more descriptive.

I dd explain what I wanted in the thread. Read it again please. As I just posted only a very short while ago...I did not expect a bunch of replys yet. I named the thread help because that is what I am asking for. Thank you for your reply *S*

oh you want to redo your chat client..hmm. sounds like you need a winsock control, a powerful server, and a book on vb programming.

what features does the current have?

well actually I do not want to redo it I want a new one made. In order to see what features it has you would have to try it out. The one that we are using now is by lotus but we want one of our own. It is not just a chat it is one that is made up of several different rooms and has full web browsing. You can actually not only go to the server rooms in other words, but anywhere on the net that you want to just like a regular browser.

hey angel, do you by any chance have AIM or AOL. your excite thing is kindof hard to use in my opinion, and i went into a lot of rooms, and i couldnt find you.

ok go into excite...at the bottom on the right hand side you will see where it says locate....click on that and a window will open. Type in Angel then click on locate in the window. My name will come up then just make sure that my name is highlighted and click on go to place *S*
