HELP with CHECKBOX values!

i've got problem in my checkbox values...im using SQL Server as back-end and ASP/Vbscript as front end..u see, as an administrator level, i can add article category and using check box i can add or put who will be the editor of a certain article type...

my problem is when i go to the updating page...those checkbox that i checked in the adding category page should be checked too...to determine that those checked checkbox is the previous editor and i can add as many editor i want in the update category page....

ill show u how it looks like!

type in the Web articles ID = mylene
password = mylene

then u'll be directed to the index.asp..click on the "administer" button on the left side..then it will direct u to the admin.asp..

Under the Administrater site click on "Edit" category..

a list of user with their corresponding articles appear..try to click on any of the links under Article type....u'll notice that the name which corresponds to the previous article type is not checked...but as I said, i checked it previously (adding function)...

where did i go wrong? someone help me out please!

U mean the archive check box?

how are saving the data inthe DB thats is hows this checkbox value is saved in the DB. As archive = true/false or something else??

nope..not the archive box.....just click on the link "Administer Sites" under "Edit " category..

(it seems that the value of the checkbox stored in the dbase isnt registering on the other .asp file...)

u'll notice in the list..in each article type there's a corresponding online managers...but if u click on one of the link under the article type, let say "infoscience" (it has 5 corresponding online managers)..another page will appear...

notice that the 5 corresponding online managers weren't checked!

...the value of the checkbox should be true...but im wondering why it returned this value....any idea how can i work it out???
