HELP!!! IPnumber lookup IP.

Hi Everybody.

Since a couple of months ago I´ve been attacked by a guy with Netbus every day. My protection program detected his IPnumber and I have check up the number to a list of several different IPnumbers and servers and I would like to have some more info about this guy throught his IPnumber.

Is it possible to find out the hostname of this guy,s computer and in what country his located in by only knowing his IPnumber????????

and search IP or something like that.....I downloaded a program that does that exactly, but I forgot what it was called, and deleted it.

Resolve the IP address into a hostname.

like...

139.134.5.160 resolves to mail.bigpond.com
203.102.164.202 resolves to w2.aunz.yahoo.com

use the DOS ping to resolve hostnames...

PING -a IPADDRESSHERE

exameple...

PING -a 139.134.5.160

then look at the hostname and even internic lookups
to work out what country or network owner it is...

I´ve found a tracerroute site from where I traced his IPnummber to a location in Nort Corea and I got all information about who he is and all that stuff, but thank you anyway.

ok well firstly netbus is the worst trojan ive
ever seen but if your that hardcore about getting
this person then i suggest you perform a DNS lookup
it will track the IP back to the person's ISP then
if you really want to get them write their isp an
telling them what they were doing and what time
they did it and also what the IP was and then
if their ISP gives a **** they mite ban the person
from the ISP. or they mite delete the email from you
eiether way netbus as with all trojans needs to be
run by you first to be deadly so its mostly your fault

Me too, at least every month, upto ow my firewall has saved me, that and intruder alert, i hav zonelabs V2 but don't know how to configure it.

When it first started i emailed my isp and asked them what was going on and they told me it was from an external source

Next time it happened, i wrote a sterner letter and they sent me info on the dude(s?), and guess what ?

yep, it from korea, when i wrote to the dude, he didn't reply, and when i wrote the isp, the letter was returned UNDELIVERABLE, so it seems they have their own servers to hack from, and create the domains willy nilly as required.

I wanna get back too!!!!
