    How to retrieve DB field item was was entered thru a select drop down menu

    i have a problem retrieving information from the database. I enter data thru a form and one of ways i enter data into the database is thru a select dropdown list way. I can enter data fine but when i try to retrieve that same data from teh DB to update information, i get the default dropmenu instead of the information stored in the DB.

    If u can help me please do.
