You guys probably know more about the type of prices I should be getting for this stuff, but I've finally crowbarred some money out of my parents (£300 ($438) loan + £620 ($905.13) of my own hard earned cash :)). I want this PC to last me through Uni, even if I have to replace processor, and some other bits. I also want it to run some neat games now :D.

Anyway let me know what you think, and if you find the same stuff cheaper elsewhere (including VAT and delivery) then please tell me :).

It's not bad, I don't think. I'm no expert, though.

Its a fine machine, but far more bells and whistles than I'd bother with myself. Seems like a nice price though.

Blackley, actually. I'm a north Manchester boy :)

You're missing a cd-rw drive and I think you should go for 512mb ram instead of 256.

Yeah, there's a few things I'd want to kick up and a few other things I'd want to kick down or away. But overall, not that bad.

I've got a CDRW already, and I've got a network card (no modem needed, i'm a DSL wh0re now :D)

I thought about more RAM, but I'm not going to be using that much. I'll think about it though.

I've gone for the extra RAM (512MB now) and a smaller monitor (15") cause I really don't have room for a 17 incher. :(

but I really don't have room for a 17 incher. Not anywhere. And I cope with a 15" at the moment ;)
