ok you guys probally know that yahoo and other places offer e-mail reminders about anneversaries and b-days and....
well my g-f want one on our computer. and I tring to figure out how to store the events and check for em and pop up some msg 5 - 10 days before hand
anybody have any ideas?

You can use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Schedule+ (which is an old mutation of what we know as Microsoft Outlook today)).

hi!
You can just use the Data command. It's very simple. The example below assumes that you want a reminder on the 31 of December 99. The way you write your date depends on your regional settings:
if date = "20-11-99" then msgbox "Today I posted this reply!"
Don't try putting this code into form_load() because I found it doesn't work. You can try though. Make sure you go to Regional Setting, Date in Control panel to see what the standard structure of a date is. Or just use the line of code below:
form1.print date
