    Question NETWORK Monitor...

    Hi,

    I need to make a program which logs all internet activity in some file for every 5 seconds...

    Infomation should be in this order...

    TIME ... BYTES SEND ... BYTES RECEIVED ... GUEST IP ( if possible )

    I am pretty much new to INTERNET programming but I guess it has something to do with TCP/IP monitoring...

    Can some one help me or if they have a code plz post to me...???

    what u need is a "Packet Sniffer". I dont think you can make one in pure VB.

    there are several third-party apps (very many of them free) available across the internet.

    for interfacing with VB, there are a few activeX components. Search for my posts on "Packet Sniffer" in this forum. A couple should be hyperlinked
