Ok, i downloaded a program that associated itself with a certain file type, then i deleted the program. How do i stop the file association.

Pretty easy as long as you have the file type's extension and/or description

Open Windows Explorer
Under View Menu click Options
Click on the File Types Tab
Find the File Association
Highlight it
Click Remove

Ta-Da! :D

Works in Win95 anyway :)
