I was wondering how can I do a chat program with JAVA. I searched some sample to planet-source-code.com but I did not found one who work correctly. If some one have an example who work or a tutorial about using program over the net than please tell me the url or upload your code please

My seconde question is about the java virtual machine. I have it in my computer because I have JBuilder and the JDK but if a firend want to test my program and he doesn't want to install JBUILDER, how can I downloader only the Java Virtual Machine... and please do not give me java.sun.com... I can not find it there!
