visual basic net standard and browser
I am using the visual basic .net standard compiler and am
having a hard time getting onto a server.
I tried getting onto a server where they used a one click
method to upload my project.I thought this was a little strange
beceause you have to begin a new web project on a server. It
is not possible to load a standard windows application onto
a server and have it automatically converted to a aspxweb
project.
I tried anyway and my internet explorer gave me a message:
"project will not upload contact vendor."
I then tried to go to the new projects box and clicked the web.aspx template with the proper url location for the server
listed.I then got a message saying:"server adress must not
be right or you must set proxy settings".
The server address is correct and when I talked to them
they said I didn,t have to set any proxy settings!?!
I am confused.Surely this one click upload method is for projects
that are already web applications.
Would anybody using the visual basic .net standard edition
be able to help? Thanks God Bless
TonyF
