I just posted a query relating to an error message I got when trying to creat an inherited form something like error loading document, text is read only, whatever.

and guess what the solution is, remove the code I had in the base form load event!!! - works fine.

I got the tip of the godotnet forum, wasn't the same problem but it pointed me in the right direction! - phew!!!
