When i try to make these calculatons it does not match the book. I think books got error, check the algebra 2 book on page 342, prblem number 19. This is the problem, x+3 = 4; now, the dummm book says x = 1., but i say is thoud be 7. Why is the book wrong. in china no mistakes are made!

X+3=4
To find x you need to get an X = ??? equation
To do this you can subtract 3 from both sides.
Then you get
X+3-3=4-3
X = 1

The 2nd prog tom may be a different user to the 1st prog tom. He may be trying to make prog tom look bad.
