    What do you recomend?

I am looking for a good text book to help me get started and to use as a resource for graphics programming in Visual Basic. I will not be programming any games but using graphics to enhance and upgrade the GUI of my apps.

    Any recomendations would be appreiciated.

I will also be going through this site and others for tutorials and other information. If you are willing to recomend any sites and/or tutorials I would appriciate it.

I'd suggest something more powerful DirectX is a great choice for VB

Though DirectX is indeed powerful (and your site certainly contains a wealth of info, Jack =), it would be overkill in this instance. Since he only wants to enhance a standard GUI, the GDI is quite capable of handling just about any application.

zemp: If you know your specific question, post here. The programmers on this board are really quite skilled, and can almost certainly answer your question.
