Speaking of Partitions
I want to partition my hard drive into to partitions, but before I do...do you have to format before you partition or anything, or can you split a hard drive with files and stuff on it?
The Partion Poll Thread gave me the idea, since I always want to format, but never want to loose my documents, you know?
Thanks in advance,
The Hobo

Without using any special software you will lose data - Partition Magic (and others) let you resize partions etc without losing data.

Yeah, without Partition Magic, you partition, then format, (then install an OS if its the only HDD in the box).

Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.
