where 2 buy logic gates in the uk

i'm making this alarm and i need 2 NOR logic gates
i've looked at some electronic shops on the net but none of them sell any of them
they need 2 be in the uk and if any1 knows here's a question:
do different logic gates take different voltages and currents?
