MAC Address
How do I change the MAC address in Win 98? I've installed a new ethernet card and need the MAC address to be the same as the old one

AFAIK it's hardcoded into the network card and can't be changed

it can be changed in the software, in 2K and XP there are options in the control panel to do it, but in other windows OS you can do it in the registry, i know this as i have done it before, but i have forgotten the registry key at the moment
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

Make sure that nobody else will be trying to use the old card on your network
