    Explorer open in a new window

    When clicking on a link that uses a new window or
    when right clicking on a link to open in a new windows in IE
    nothing occurs and no new window is opened ?

    Did you look to see if

    Reuse Windows for Launching Shortcuts is checked (on)?

    It under

    Tools > Internet Options > Advanced

    That was the first thing I did, but it didn't work .....

    sorry this is not a solution to ur problem... but the computer i use at school has got the same problem.... no popups or links that open new windows work....

    does pressing control+N still open new windows??
    and holding down shift and clicking on a link?? that should open a new window
