    hi

i've heard there are things called extenstions? in ultra dev that help do DHTML.

anyone know how to use them? i've looked in the help files but got no help.

i basicly just want to do a drop down style menu

    thanks!

Can't you just try somewhere like http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ that have some walk-throughs that will do all the hard work for you, and then just copy and paste the code?

Dreamweaver has the ability to use extensions to generate source code for you.

What you need to do is download the extension manager for Macromedias website then have a look at the Dreamweaver/Ultradev extensions on the Website.

As Rick said though, I'd look for free scripts instead. Dynamic Drive is a good example, also http://www.getelementbyid.com too.

i do use the sites mentioned and it works just fine.

i was told by someone that the extension manager was "way easier" but after looking into it, it didn't seem to be.

actually, what i found was, you go to macromedia's site and download extensions but they are just code created by someone else. most of which don't work.

    thanks
