Angry Arrgghhhhh annoying problem with VB4

I have Microsoft Visual Basic 4, Proffesionnal Edition 32-bit, i have a huge major, annnoying f*****g problem with it. Ok i can compile and run a program on it. I save my Project, Shutdown my computer. Next day open VB4, open my project, double click on the form i wish to edit and an illegal operation appears each time AND I JUST DONT KNOW WHY!!!!!!!!

(Sorry about caps, just expressing my anger) is there a bug fix for this? this is what it says in the details box of the illegal operation:-

VB32 caused an invalid page fault in

Since no one has responded, I'll throw in my 2 cents worth of opinion.

    Two possibilities:

The error you are having was, at one time, addressed by a Service Pack that is no longer available, given the aged version of VB that you are running.

The operating system you are running doesn't support VB32, which in reality, was not a true 32bit version of VB. That didn't occur until VB5.

You could try sending Microsoft an e-mail. I do that sometimes and usually they give me vague responses with some links to get more info from their site where I get more vague and convoluted information. Then I give up and buy the latest version of the product in question and Microsoft gets more of my money.

    Hope this helps

Wow! Someone actually fully agreed with me! No rebuttal, no conflicting information. Just complete and total agreement. This goes on my calendar.

Umm... do I win a prize or something?
