    access cd-rom drive for data

    if i have my database on the cd-rom, how can i tell different computers to go to their cd rom drives to get the information required in my programming?

    Run code to find out what the Drive Letter for the computers CD Rom drive is, and plug that into your Database path.

    make sure you don't try to write to it! hehe

    ps. running db from the cd-rom (unless its cd-rw) may not be a good idea. since the dms will not be able to create the backup/whatever file i creates when a db is open
