boot from slave
I have a hard drive installed with the jumper on the master/slave position and with the slave cable connected.
I have W2K loaded on this drive.
Is there anyway I can boot from this drive without moving the cable?

but to have it boot into the f drive you have to set it as avtive in fdisk. I am not sure if it will change the partition enough to worry about reformating. so you run fdisk then pick one of the menus that will change it to the active drive. other than that c: will have to have a boot.ini file on it so you know what os is on there. you can dual boot it.
also you can go into the bios and change teh boot order if the F drive is in there.
