I like FPSes, but seem to spend most of my games-playing time online playing MMORPGs.

Oh and Allegiance was the best multiplayer game I ever played - an online arcade-ish space flight sim with real time strategy involved in setting up bases and upgrading ships.... that was an awesome game, but unfortunately M$ published it, didn't advertise it hardly at all, so not many people played it and they pulled the plug on it :( Ah well....

Used to play UO. Quit that evil game after they took out precasting and implemented their new extra-gay combat system that made naked warhammer-wielding dex monkeys own PvP. Finally decided that the Origin dev team really didn't give a **** what the players actually wanted and were just messing around for their own amusement, or justifying their own jobs by making bugs for themselves to fix, or something.

Now I play Dark Age of Camelot.

I played EQ until I realized that there was no point =). I believe that I am still the one and only Enchanter Fletcher in that game =).

DAoC is pretty good. Just getting into the PvP aspect, seems pretty good so far but it's very much group-based, guild-based and alliance-based. Solo PvPing isn't very common.

It's kind of split between the normal player vs monster areas and the PvP-able areas. There are 3 realms, one of which you join and fight against the other 2 in the frontier areas.

I like it. Not very high level yet but my realm points are racking up :)
