It's an Application/Object Defined Error, (Means VB Doesn't Know, because it's specific to a Control/Object you're using).
Are you using any added Controls or Objects?

Yes, The error is coming up when the user switches from one screen view to another. The error is also arising in a software package called fixed Dynamics. If you are not familiar with Fixed dynamics/intellution it's a software package primarily used for operator interface on machinery. Specifically, the error occurs when one switches the picture(form) in the run mode back to the design mode.

Is this an Application you're writing or a program you're already using by someone else?
If it's yours or you have access to the source, I would check to see what properties/methods are being used at that point and make sure they're being used in accordance to the 3rd Party Documentation.
Perhaps the Objects/Controls have an Error Object/Property/Method you can check.

There is a team of us working on developing a control system using this software. I'm not too involved in writing the source code however due to the fact I use VB I occasionally get involved in the coding/debugging. Sorry, I'm so clueless but I'm not sure I understand what your suggesting I check for. Could you please elaborate?
