You know, like video hardware acceleration...my TV tuner card is displaying crap images but a normal Print Screen doesn't show the actual video content, and when I grab a frame with the ATI software it looks right.

why not just extract that frame from the video using something like virtualdub or *shudder* windows movie maker.

I don't know for sure - but you have noise in the signal.
Your PC input has to come in via a shielded cable or you have problems.

Filburt - I know exactly what you're talking about; I had this trouble and never found a way around it, other than connecting the video out to the video in, but I don't have a TV-out card. So I could never do it. If you have a Tv-out, you can try this, although then you will have the same problem I guess.

What you could do it take a screen shot and the save the image from TV player and then merge em in photoshop.

1. Capturing stills with the TV tuner software is fine
2. The live video stream looks all screwed up so I want to e-mail ATI about it but I can't show them an example.

Ahhh...so you want the screenshot to be messed up!
I have had a few probs with the software aswell.
1. Teletext doesn't work :-(
2. It always starts up 'zoomed in'. The only way to make it normal is to start recording adn then stop.
I suggest using some different software.
Anyway...digital camera? Won't be too good but it might work.

See if there's an option for Direct3D support/hardware acceleration.
If there is, disable it! I had the same problem. But that fixed it :)
