ASP or .NET???
Hi,
A quick question for you all.
I am currently writing a proposal for a 'large' project. A SQL Server 2000, eCommerce capable web site. Future additions include wireless access (PDA etc.)
My question is: Should I develop this site using the usual ASP or should I start from the beginning with .NET? My .NET experience is next to nothing compared to ASP. However, I have read a lot regarding the ease of use and armed with Visual Studio.Net quite keen to embark on the .NET road.
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but I am eager to get feedback from you all regarding your personal experiences and whether on future projects you will begin to use .NET instead of ASP.
Thanks,
Chris

I think if you are going to be using wireless pda's and stuff you defitnly want to go with asp.net there is all kinds of support for that kind of stuff that and .net is going to be the future in the microsoft development world. The only concerns right now with developing in .net is lack of experienced developers and possible bugs.
