openning a new window
How do i get it to where when i click a button the window changes inside the main frame??
If you have ever seen WinMX thats what i'm talking about.

no like say i have a line of buttons at the top of my screen.
and i clikc it how do i get a different screen to come up but the buttons are stll visible at the top of the screen.
if you need more info just say so.

why not just make different windows for each, and make the rest invisible wheny ouc lcik one

what you could do is put every thing in frames and then make only the frame that you want up visible and the rest not visible, and you put the different stuff on the frames that you want to be shown

if you're talking about using the buttons as a sort of menu, then you could make a main window and have any new windows show up at a size that doesn't cover up the buttons on the main window, or possibly just put the same buttons on each window.
...frames are good too
