Animation on my Welcome screen.

I was wondering if it is possible to put an animation on the welcome screen of my Visual Basic project. I have already got an animation which I want to use and I was wondering was there any way I can put it into my welcome screen for the program. This may be simple to do, but I am just a begginer and do not know how to do it. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Do you mean an animated GIF? I don't know too much about animation but I'm sure we can do something to get it on your welcome screen.

Enter gif89 to their search textbox. Ya should should get some code and controls l posted there that handles animations on vb forms. The posting includes the controls and a demo project.

Easy to use, great results.

You can download the stuff as a zip file and use to your hearts content.

P.S Have you dabbled with MS Agent yet....pretty cool stuff from MS.

If you do not want a GIF then you could use the Timer control or you could use VB's built in timer function.
