College IT project help required
Hi Gang,
My nextdoor neighbour is in his 1st year at Tech doing some IT diploma or somesuch. He's working on a term paper and has found most of the dope he needs, but he's missing 2 things and he's been unable to find this on the net or in his textbooks etc. So can anyone find a link to provide a few paragraphs on the history of:
a) the palmtop
b) 5GLs.
Muchas Gracias,
and btw isn't the Aussie ODI team in form, or what?

It's a 5th Generation Language, which I gather is like a 4GL on steroids, having an in-built expert system to write the code when you pose the question. Something like that, anyway.

from what i can remember from college, a 5GL is a programming language that is very close to an actual language. something like programming in structured english type thing.
VB is a 4GL, while assembly and the like are 2 or 3 GL's.
