check a local PC shop to see if they have anything you can just use and return...:p

why not rig up a light bulb out of a daisy chain connecter and then plug it in?

I know that one of the water cooled case manufacturers includes a tool for this purpouse to make sure everything works, it seemed to be just 1 wire plugged into two places on the mobo connecter... I'll try to find a pic...

PROBABLY not... :)

Lots of people do this when running an extra PS for their comp... Just run some heavy gauge wire, hell any wire really, between those two spots...

Forgot to mention, to actually test if it works or not, just throw a fan on there or something... :)

That will only tell you whether the power supply will turn on. To really test it, you should grab a multimeter and test out the voltage.
