I've moderated a few forums of my own and have only had to delete/remove threads for "Flaming" reasons. Blatant Spam issues were a problem at ties as well.

I've noticed a few threads being locked with only a few replies being made. Others have replies for multi-pages.

What do you look for in a post before locking it?

Generally, we do not lock threads at all, unless under extremem circumstances. I used to lock threads in this forum before it got this busy, so that I could keep track over which issues I had dealt with.

However, users have the option of locking their own threads when they are satisfied with their replies. That is where most of the closed threads come from I think.

I'm very glad that you don't lock threads very much, the AI conversation looks like a moderators nightmare, it's the sort of thing that could cause huge arguments and you'd have to read all the posts in there to see what's happening, it's turning into a great conversation and we wouldn't have it if we had a tight moderator (is mean tight in the nastyest possible way)

We all apreciate it.
