Covering text box with text that isn't the value? AIM does it...

Say I have a password text box, with some code/many programs you can see what the password is by running ur mouse over the astericks(sp?)...well AIM made it where when u saved ur password instead of showing the astericks it would cover them with "Password Saved"...or something simliar to that..so when u ran one of these uncovering programs you couldnt get the password..does anyone know how to do this?

First, those systems doesn't work on NT/2000. Or at least, that seemed to me. Second, don't save the password to any database. Encrypt it, with a function you create, and save that into the database. Then you can just show the encrypted password in the textbox and you won't have to be afraid of those systems that "cracks" passwords.

However, I don't see the difficulty to achieve what you're saying. What's the problem with that?
