First, I am very impressed with the work you've done recently on this board. I can't get over how well everything is organized and how easy it was for us to adapt and how strong this is board is put together.
I think it would be very cool if you could maybe use the server for some of our projects. If there's a bunch of extra room on the server, perhaps you could donate some of it to a place where we can put our projects up for download? I realize this is a lot to ask, but I have a great program that I have been honing to perfection for months, and I'd like some of the other members to use it. It would also be neat for them to get it and do some beta testing on it (see if it works right on their systems and such). Naturally there would have to be some space limits, and probably you would only be able to put up the executable and maybe the source, but the runtime files make everything huge so we couldn't upload those. We'd just have to say what we used to create the program and there could be a place to download the runtimes for that system. (that's a little confusing. here's an example: I write my program, then upload the executable. I say I used VB 6.0, so anyone with 6.0 can download it, or they can download the 6.0 dlls and then get my program)
Again, this is a lot to ask, and I'm sure somebody would take advantage of it, but it would be very useful to us.
thanks for the awesome forum,
bob
