I'm havin' a hard time making an evil smile fit in the little 15 by 15 space.

Here's an interesting one:
http://24.0.155.35/VbWork/Smilie-ish/straight.gif

What do you you think of that??

Oh, John can I make the smilies bigger than 15x15. It doesn't matter to me..what ever you perfer.

John

You can use more if you want, but not too big. That smilie there: what emotion or whatever is it?

No, but I I like this really cool 'person' coz most people are afraid if they hear from him although he doen's exist :) And... doesn't he look really cool? ;) (See the videos from Diablo / Diablo2 -yeah!)

-John-
eg means evil grin, in fact both mean the same, the first more grin, the second more evil ;)

BTW: In the Lionhead forum I saw a really good idea: symbols for good and evil, will be the best if you visit the board (http://lionhead.co.uk), search for 'good' and see what I mean!

Fox,
Cool faces man!
Oh, on that lionhead thing..it asks for an email and a password. I dont think i should give that password part to 'em. Is there an other way in?

John, i guess =] would be http://24.0.155.35/VbWork/Smilie-ish/straight.gif. But I dont know of any real meaning that the face has...

Cbomb - I found the forums in the end. Buried in frames, so I cannot post a link, but start out from http://www.lionhead.co.uk and follow the link to news and views.

That may complicate things for the good/evil letters.
Oh, Megatron is this better: http://24.0.155.35/VbWork/Smilie-ish/wink.gif? --> :)

May 3rd, 2000, 03:50 AM

i don't have the patience for art :(

May 4th, 2000, 03:08 AM
All you really got to do is copy one of these icons and edit it.

Cbomb
May 4th, 2000, 06:26 AM
Thats pretty much what I'm doing :) Well except for the picture of the disk (http://24.0.155.35/Vbwork/Smilie-ish/disk.gif) and plus im using Photoshop which makes the whole deal alot easier!

May 4th, 2000, 06:35 AM
I don't have photoshop (yet)...But I find Paint Brush or Microangleo works fine. But then again, all my icons turn out crappy...

da_silvy
May 4th, 2000, 06:59 PM
i need ideas, before i plunge into making icons, because i'm not a very good ideas man...

speaking of an idea man, who has seen the movie "The Castle"?
i think it was an aussie film :D

May 6th, 2000, 01:52 PM

Yes, I can only view it in GIF format. What format were you using before?

Hmmm...Maybe it's because I'm using Netscape.

Cbomb
May 19th, 2000, 09:47 AM

May 22nd, 2000, 04:42 PM
thanks, but i can't work out how to change the size to the proper size for vb-world. but i cannot figure out how to do it in microangelo 98 :(

so does anyone know how to change it to the proper format?

May 23rd, 2000, 02:27 AM
Ask John what the proper format is? Use Paintshop or some other Graphic Tool to convert the image.
