SonGouki raised an interesting point in answer to a posted question. He/she/it always supplies vb6 version answers to questions. I generally supply vb5 version answers.

People should indicate which version, and which service pack, they are using when posting a question. This would give them a greater chance of getting a usable answer.

By the way which version are you using ?

as most of the examples are written in vb6, the users of this forum should assume that code is written in vb6, unless the provider otherwise states.

    Just my $0.02

I guess I agree with you, but the person who needs the code, should also specify which version that they require it in...

    ok??

I suggest everyone adds their version to their Signature, (like me) that will enable other users to put their time into code that can be interpreted by the other persons version.

    Amen to that Jethro!

On a side note, I was wondering what you guys think of responding to E-Mails from this site. I personally don't like to do it because I feel that others who may be interested in the information are cut out of the loop, kind of defeating the purpose of this forum, IMHO.
