I liked the fire letters more on topics with more than 15 replies... the H is also good, but it's just a letter. A fire however looks better ;)

Got to agree with Fox on this. The fire was a much better idea.

The fire kicked ass.
(As in a donkey, of course) :)
Well, I'll leave then.
BYE!
Yes the fire was better....
Yeah, I agree with you guys too.

For a while I actually thought that the H was some kind of bound up letter meaning the thread was locked. The fire is more meaning full to me for this reason. Bring back the flame!
(Mann... I fell dumb...[mumbles]..locked thread...sheesh)

I'll see what I can do - I'm no graphics expert mind you. Perhaps one of you thinks that they can do it? Email me, and I'll send you the old fires, and the new envelopes. In the mean time...I'll try.

I'll start up PhotoPaint right now and try to make some graphics, no need to send me the gifs ;)

What about these ones (Maybe there should be a bigger difference between the old and new folder)
hm... the [img] -code doesn't work so I'll post the links:
hm... no, I'll make a website :D
(Yes, I got some time... I'm so happy that I found a solution for our object mgmt. :))
Go here (http://jove.prohosting.com/~mccloud/english/folders.htm)

Very nice - how about animation though? The flames do seem to blend in rather with the folders.
I'll turn on [img] codes in this forum.

Uh, one more problem: PhotoPaint can't save or export the AVI/GIF I'd make... some errors in the filter I think :(
I'm so sorry but I can't help *snief*
:)

I thought it would be quite funny in the post titles 'More
than 15 replies' had more than 15 replies.
Being the man (mouse) I am I'm going to make it happen.

this.
Hmmm. It's a bit unfair that I actually got extra posts for
writing rubbish like this. But then my answers to questions
are also rubbish, so it is fair.
All your Questions are way too hard - couldn't you people
ask stuff like 'How do I declare vairables' or 'How do you
write an If...Then clause' ?) :(

Well, that was today's episode of 'Westenders' so I'll leave
you. Forever. :(
:p
Just joking
[Brain: I don't know if it counts as a joke]
[Imagination: Yeah, it was pretty rubbish]
[They both stare at the 'joke-maker' part of my brain, it
is a small ball of pus with cobwebs and a strange smell]
Bye!

OK V(ery) Basic I was kinda wondering how to add 2 numbers together and put that in a textbox, could you give me a hand.
by the way, this thread has more than 15 replies! How ironic

Right. Sam, I've got the answer to your problems in nice,
easy to read code:
Dim Num1 As Long, Num2 As Long, Total As Long
'Dim declares a number
'Long is a type of number
Total = Num1 + Num2
Text1.Text = Text1.Text & CStr(Total)
'Text1 is you textbox
'CStr is extremely advanced. It converts a number into a
'string. You use the & operator to append a string to
'another string rather then +
'.Text is the textbox's text property.
Right. I hope I've cleared that up.
I hope it helps in one of your robust, real-world apps.
:D
Thanks for the confidence boost,
Me

can we have the new posts one a bit redder, it's easier to tell with the new flaming ones than the ones we have now but it's still quite hard to tell the difference between new posts and old posts.

After carefully reading all posts, I realized that "H" means "Hot".
My vote: flames are cool (Oops!)

I'd like to vote for the greenish flamed envelope for new threads (to my opinion, green says 'new' in a way while blue says 'settled' which may suggest 'older'). Maybe you need to make it a little bit darker green though CBomb...
then maybe we can have it bouncing(like an animation)
