Office XP Developer Edition

Hi;
I know this might be a wrong place to ask this question but, does anybody know what is the use of this developer edition of Office XP? I am familiar with all the office programs but I got the Office XP developer edition with my MSDN Subscription. So, I installed it but I don't know how to use it.
So can anybody shed some light on this question? Or where would be good start for it?
