I am developing a scheduling application and I would like to be able to send details of appointments including the time and date of the appointment to a shared calendar in MS Outlook '97.
Using the MAPI Controls in VB 5.0, I am able to send e'mail messages to users, but I have not been able to find a way a setting the property of the message to indicate it is a calendar appointment instead of a standard e'mail message.
Has anyone else tried this, or am I out there pushing the envelope?
(Maybe I need VB 6.0?)
Regards,
Alan Todd
