cd burner

Hi,
I'm new on this so i dont really know if this is the correct place to
put my question.

Does anybody know how you can detect a cd_rom burning device
with the vbapi?

I have tryed the APIfunction "GetDriveType" but it returns a 5
for either a normal cd_rom drive aswell as a cd_rom burner.

Hope anybody can help me.

Have you tried checking the label? Otherwise just have your user specify the drive letter.
