Moo2 clone

I'm creating a clone of Master of Orion, interested joining in? So far, I've done a map that shows names of stars and some info about them. I'm using D3DIM but only for making lightning effects and to gain some speed. If you decide to join, I'll send you the things I've done and you can improve it as much as possible.

Now this forum is something I call great!

Master of Orion is a space strategy game, the first version was released a long time ago and Moo2 at the end of 1996 (I'm not so sure about the numbers).
Anyway, it's a great game but not good enough :)
So, what can you do with VB and DirectX?
