Hi,
I hope anyone of you could help me out. I have been trying out GetSystemMetrics() function to determine whether or not a PS/2 mouse is connected to my computer. I'm using SM_MOUSEPRESENT as its parameter set.
However, it did not work eventhough I un-plugged my mouse. I would really appreciate if you could provide me some help.
Thank you!

Unplugging your mouse and running application would not help.
With start up your system detects that mouse present.
Unplug your mouse and restart a computer, run your application and it is going to work.
Please, let me know if it is any help.
