I recently created a custom control. I would like to have a unique toolbar icon for it. The property which set this only accepts bitmaps (not Icons). I tried to create a bitmap using MS-Paint however when I view the bitmap via the toolbar, it doesn't look anything like the one I created in MS-Paint. Black lines are grey, much the detail is not there at all.... I must be doing something wrong (size? attributes?). Does anyone know how to create a bitmap that works on the toolbar?
PS.
Just what is the difference between an ICON and A bitmap? They both look about the same.

Even though Microsoft says that for ToolBoxImage the bitmap image should be 32x32, create a bitmap that's (23x23).
