HELP

I'm using VB6 with access 2000, if i insert a record and update all is fine but then i delete some text which leaves the field empty when i try to update or move to next record is tells me that < Field"COMP_NAME" cannot be zero length string> has anyone had this problem and if so how can I resolve it.

try to check your table in access 2000...open design table for field that cause that problem. Set "Allow Zero Length" option to "Yes"

I have already done this, but when I insert a new record and leave the field blank it is ok but when I insert text into the field and then delete the text that is when I get the error messsage
