    I was wondering did anyone know how you can search a computers directory and subdirectory for "Acro32Rd.exe" (Acrobat reader) without specifying the entire path that its in. I need help immediately. Thanks in advance!!

    If you are using Windows 95 or better

    Click on Start, goto find, then click on files or folders.

    I hope that helps you.

    Let me rephrase the question. I was wondering did anyone know how you can search a computers directory and subdirectory for "Acro32Rd.exe"(Acrobat reader) using visual basic without specifying the entire path that its in. I need help immediately. Thanks in advance!!

    I have one using recursive, but after looking at SonGouki yesterday, his is much more efficient than mine.
