    Unhappy CD Writers

    Hi everyone,

    Can anyone help me with a way of determining wether a CD id writable or not using API calls. I can detect a CD play OK but I'm doing an automatic backup (timed) to a specified location using the vbzip library and it corrupts my Access data file if the zip process fails.

    I've determined whether space will be a problem and whether a disk is in the drive, now I need to test if the destination is writable.

    check the file system of the disk if it is blank then it is either a blank cd-r or cd-rw disk and is ready for writing.
