Regsvr32 is failing to register a control (error code 0x8000fff which I think means unexpected failure) and when I try to register it via VB it says it isn't a valid control. I've had it registered before, but I was on 98 then and am on 95 now. I checked the support and I have all the files i need ... any ideas?

I asked the same type of question a few days ago and received a few reponses.
Go back a couple pages in the problems and look for one called "Registering OCX Files"

Feel free to contact me.
I did solve the problem one way but it was not the best solution I am sure.
